• Highline High's football Pirates earn first win of season, beat Interlake 28–12 (b-townblog.com) — Highline High's football team snapped its losing streak with a 28–12 road win over Interlake, improving to 1–5 overall and 1–3 in KingCo Crest play. The Pirates now prepare to host Newport on Oct. 15 before traveling to Redmond on Oct. 23, giving local fans two more chances to see conference action this season.
