Man sentenced to over 25 years for shooting, killing teen outside Big 5 in Renton (kiro7.com) — A retired Navy veteran has been sentenced to just over 25 years in prison for fatally shooting 17-year-old Hazrat Ali Rohani outside the Big 5 Sporting Goods in Renton in June 2024. Prosecutors said Aaron Myers wrongly assumed teens carrying BB guns for repair were planning a robbery, then continued firing even after Rohani was on the ground.
