• Escaped Western State Hospital inmate captured in SeaTac after nearly 2 weeks (kiro7.com) — A man who escaped from Western State Hospital in Lakewood on March 31 was arrested by SeaTac Police at a local business on April 12 after a trespassing and theft call. Officers later learned he had outstanding warrants tied to earlier violent charges, and a court appearance will determine his next steps. Officials say security protocols at the hospital have been reviewed and tightened.
