• Parks Open & Re-Opening Soon (shorelineareanews.com) — Shoreline residents can now enjoy the newly reopened James Keough Park, featuring an off-leash dog area, new restrooms, play areas, and a picnic pavilion. Major upgrades are also underway at Brugger's Bog, Upper Hamlin, and Hillwood parks, bringing new splash and spray features, sport courts, loop paths, and shelters on staggered timelines through 2027.

• Shoreline union approves contract following months of negotiations (komonews.com) — More than 300 Shoreline School District support staff have approved a new contract after months of negotiations, averting a potential strike. The agreement, sought to improve paraeducator and other support staff pay relative to neighboring districts, means secretaries, paraeducators, health staff, crossing guards, and security workers can continue supporting Shoreline students without disruption.
