Here are Oct. 12 Pierce Co. food scores (thenewstribune.com) — Mary Mary’s Cafe on Pacific Avenue in Spanaway received 60 red points in an Oct. 14 health inspection, with issues ranging from bare-hand contact with bread to unsafe hot-holding of mashed potatoes and gravy. Several other Pierce County eateries, mostly in Tacoma, Lakewood, Gig Harbor and Fife, also logged high violation scores, but most problems were corrected on site and all remain open.
