• 72-year-old Lake Stevens man killed in semitruck collision near Marysville (lynnwoodtimes.com) — A Stanwood-based semitruck driver was uninjured in a fatal collision on State Route 9 northeast of Marysville, where a Lake Stevens passenger died after a car slid into oncoming traffic. Troopers say all involved wore seatbelts and speeding for conditions caused the crash.
