Denny Heck came back to Vancouver to urge local builders to help tackle the stateās severe housing shortage, saying Washington needs about a million more homes in 20 years. Speaking at Heathman Lodge, he pushed for easier building rules, a new state Department of Housing, and a strong focus on starter homes to unlock the market.
