You can fill it out through 911info.wa.gov or links on the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office and College Place Police Facebook pages. Officials hope clearer public understanding will speed up responses when seconds matter.

Walla Walla County warns of norovirus surge (elkhornmediagroup.com) — Health officials in Walla Walla County are tracking a spike in norovirus complaints and urging residents to report suspected cases through the state’s online foodborne illness form. While no specific businesses are implicated, locals are warned about dehydration risks, especially for children, seniors, and immunocompromised people, and reminded that only thorough handwashing—not sanitizer—helps prevent spread.

3. College Place police will turn Flock cameras back on beginning June 15 (bellinghamherald.com) — College Place police will reactivate their Flock license plate cameras on June 15 after state lawmakers limited their use to serious crimes, stolen vehicles, parking enforcement and missing people. The Walla Walla Police Department, which shut its cameras off at the same time over legal and privacy concerns, is still deciding whether to follow suit. Both departments stress they do not use the cameras for immigration enforcement.

4. Hiker hospitalized after being struck by falling rock near Wallula (yaktrinews.com) — Emergency crews from Walla Walla County Fire District 5 rescued a hiker struck in the head by a falling rock near Twin Sisters Rock south of Wallula on Wednesday evening. The man was found conscious and alert, then taken by ambulance for hospital treatment in Kennewick after an initially requested Life Flight was cancelled once rescuers reached him.
