• Several potential infrastructure upgrades in Yelm identified as 640-acre development talks continue (yelmonline.com) — Yelm officials are negotiating a 640-acre development that could bring major road, sewer, and traffic upgrades across town, funded by Blue Fern Development rather than taxpayers. Intersections on Tahoma Boulevard, SR 510, SR 507, and other key routes are being studied now, with the first homes not expected until at least 2028 and a public project timeline promised online before construction starts.
