• Drug Trafficker Leading Armed Fentanyl Ring in Berkeley County, West Virginia Pleads Guilty (wcbcradio.com) — Charles Town residents should know that their local police department helped investigate a major fentanyl trafficking ring centered in nearby Berkeley County, where the ringleader has now pleaded guilty. Federal prosecutors say the operation moved large quantities of fentanyl, meth, and cocaine, and involved multiple firearms. Several co-defendants have also pleaded guilty, and sentencing will follow under federal guidelines.
