• Braxton County judge sentences 4 in separate felony cases (wvnews.com) — A Flatwoods resident, Tara Jo Turley, has been sentenced to one to 15 years in prison and fined $5,000 after being convicted of possessing methamphetamine with intent to deliver. The same Braxton County court session also handed down prison terms in three other felony cases involving stolen property and drug charges tied to incidents around the county, including one scheme that brought stolen goods into Flatwoods.
