• Crash under investigation in Hancock County (weirtondailytimes.com) — A serious two-vehicle crash on W.Va. 2 just south of Newell closed the highway for several hours Tuesday and sent both drivers to East Liverpool City Hospital. Newell Volunteer Fire Department crews freed a trapped driver while Ergon refinery employees and passing motorists helped before responders arrived. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the cause.
