⢠Mason County Commission hears presentation from data center opponent, and public comments (wvnews.com) ā Residents packed a special Mason County Commission meeting in Point Pleasant to press for answers about the large Monarch Compute Campus being built just north of town, raising worries about water use, flooding, health, and local control. Commissioners discussed limits imposed by state law, possible legislative changes, and emergency preparedness, while key questions for developer Nscale Corp. about monitoring and impacts on the aquifer and nearby neighborhoods remain unanswered.

After that win, the Vikingsā fortunes faded, with ties, shutouts, and three straight losses leaving coach Gus Winterās lone season at 3-4-2 before he moved on.
