Running from 1 to 5 p.m., the free event is hosted by the city of Ranson and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, with opportunities ranging from healthcare and education to public safety and hospitality.
   

• Drug Trafficker Leading Armed Fentanyl Ring in Berkeley County, West Virginia Pleads Guilty (wcbcradio.com) — A man who led a large fentanyl trafficking ring in the Eastern Panhandle has pleaded guilty in federal court, facing up to 24 years in prison. The case centered in Berkeley County but drew in many agencies, including the Ranson Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, underscoring how regional law enforcement is working together against deadly drug distribution.
