• MUB approves utility budgets totaling $45 million for 2027 fiscal year (dominionpost.com) — Morgantown Utility Board has approved a $45 million operating budget for water, sewer, Cheat Lake sewer, and stormwater services for the 2027 fiscal year, including a 3% cost-of-living raise and higher insurance costs. The article also notes that Westover, like Monongalia County and Mountain Line Transit, now relies on the same WVcorp liability insurance pool as MUB.
