• Neglected mules with twisted hooves get second chance thanks to local rescue (bringmethenews.com) — Four severely neglected mini mules are now recovering at Twenty-Two Farms Animal Sanctuary in Baldwin after a 10-hour hoof-trimming effort by veterinarians, farriers, and animal control officers. The animals, whose hooves may have grown unchecked for over a decade, were rescued by Companion Animal Care & Control, which is seeking donations to support their ongoing rehabilitation and care.
