(tmj4.com) — At the Brookfield Adventure Rock gym, a tight-knit group of climbers in their 60s, 70s, and 80s meets regularly to prove age doesn't have to slow you down. Brookfield residents can drop in to join their Tuesday sessions, where participants say climbing keeps them strong, balanced, and mentally sharp while they tackle routes and enjoy each other's company.
   

• Béla Fleck Announces Live Heart: My Bluegrass Heart at the Ryman (gratefulweb.com) — Béla Fleck's My Bluegrass Heart tour is headed to Brookfield's Wilson Center on November 6, giving local bluegrass fans a chance to see his acclaimed band live. The show is part of a larger tour supporting his upcoming live album, recorded at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, and follows the Grammy-winning success of My Bluegrass Heart.
