• Legal effort to save Alpine Resort in Egg Harbor tossed out in court (greenbaypressgazette.com) — A judge has dismissed the lawsuit seeking to stop demolition of Egg Harbor’s historic Alpine Resort lodge, clearing the way for its owner to potentially raze the building. With the Egg Harbor Fire Department deeming the structure unsalvageable, the waterfront property now sits unused during peak tourism season while future plans remain unclear. 
• Concert Series Returns To Peg Egan (doorcountypulse.com) — Egg Harbor’s Peg Egan Performing Arts Center is bringing back its free Sunday evening concert series this summer, with shows running June 21 through Aug. 23 at 7 pm. Residents can bring lawn chairs and carry-ins to the Church Street venue, or head to the Door County Sandbox and Gala on Egg Harbor Road in Sturgeon Bay if it rains.
