Elkhorn family experiences Walworth County's second EF-1 tornado in as many days (tmj4.com) — A confirmed EF-1 tornado with 100 mph winds destroyed a family’s barn just outside Elkhorn Wednesday night, marking Walworth County’s second such tornado in two days. No people or homes were hurt, but debris scattered across nearby fields and damaged a newly built garden fence. The family, who previously lost a horse in another storm, is now focused on cleaning up and rebuilding. 
2. ‘It was disgusting': Elkhorn car dealership apologizes after salesman texts a Black customer an ape image (tmj4.com) — An Elkhorn auto dealership has apologized after a former salesman sent a Black customer animal GIFs she considered racist, prompting her to hire a civil rights attorney. The company says the employee has been let go and promises new training to ensure all customers in Elkhorn and beyond are treated with dignity and respect.
3. Total climbs to 7 tornados that touched down in southern Wisconsin (wtmj.com) — Southern Wisconsin saw at least seven confirmed tornados this week, including an EF-1 that touched down just west of Elkhorn with 100 mph winds and building damage. National Weather Service surveys detail additional storms near East Troy, Waterford, Lisbon, and other communities. No injuries were reported, but the agency says findings remain preliminary as reviews continue.
4. Bank First sells closed Cranston Road branch for $798k (gazettextra.com) — Bank First has permanently closed its Elkhorn branch as part of a wider consolidation following its acquisition of First National Bank & Trust, eliminating dozens of jobs across the region.
