• Sports park paying $20,000 in religious discrimination settlement (wislawjournal.com) — Franklin's Crystal Ridge Ski Area, formerly The Rock Snowpark, will pay $20,000 to settle a federal lawsuit alleging it fired a worker over religious social media posts. Under a two-year consent decree, the park must revise policies, report any future religious discrimination complaints, and train employees on federal anti-discrimination protections in the workplace.

• Franklin Indian School gun threat; restraining order issued against accused (fox6now.com) — A Franklin-area Indian Community School employee was allegedly threatened at gunpoint while clearing brush along the school's property line, leading a court commissioner to issue a 10-year restraining and firearm ban against the accused neighbor. The order bars him from possessing weapons, contacting the school, or coming within 500 feet of its property, while related criminal charges move forward next month.
