• Trempealeau County Humane Society fundraises for move to new location (wxow.com) — A major fundraiser to support the Trempealeau County Humane Society’s move to a larger, more accessible facility in Independence will be held at Champions Riverside Resort in Galesville on May 2. Organizers hope the event will boost space for rescued animals and attract new volunteers from across the area.
