• Greenfield mayor seeks to remove police chief (wisn.com) — Greenfield residents should know that Mayor Michael Neitzke has formally filed charges seeking to remove Police Chief Jay Johnson, who has been on leave amid multiple criminal counts. The Common Council unanimously authorized the move, and the city's police and fire commission will now review the allegations and decide on possible discipline at a Sept. 17 hearing.
