• Hudson Chamber of Commerce to host 'MAX' networking event Sept. 10 (hudsonstarobserver.com) — Hudson-area business owners and professionals can connect at a Hudson Chamber MAX networking event on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 4–6 p.m. at YMCA Camp St. Croix's Royal Credit Union Discovery Center. Current members get tips to maximize benefits and chances at prizes, while prospective members can learn how the Chamber supports local businesses and growth. 
• Auto racing: Giossi, Adams get invitational season going (duluthnewstribune.com) — Hudson driver James Giossi kicked off the local invitational racing season with a big win in the inaugural Road to the Silver WISSOTA Late Model feature at Gondik Law Speedway. The race drew 78 entries and launched a packed stretch of high-stakes events, while teenager Blake Adams swept both Modified divisions with two impressive victories.
