• 264-mile Ride Against Suicide leaves Zumbrota Wednesday (kaaltv.com) — A four-day, 264-mile Ride Against Suicide will roll into Hudson on its first day, bringing cyclists, support crews, and awareness for veteran and first responder mental health. The Forest Lake-based Invisible Wounds Project uses the ride to raise funds, reduce stigma, and honor those lost to suicide or in the line of duty, with donations accepted online.
   

• Man admits to driving drunk, causing crash that killed Twin Cities restaurateur (bringmethenews.com) — A Brooklyn Park man has pleaded guilty to homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle for a deadly April 2025 crash on I-94 in Hudson that killed Twin Cities restaurateur David Burley. His blood alcohol level was well above Wisconsin's legal limit, and he's scheduled for sentencing on December 7, a case that underscores ongoing safety concerns on this busy local stretch of interstate.
