• Red-hot Kewaskum cooled off by Pewaukee (gmtoday.com) — Kewaskum’s baseball team saw its hot streak end with an 8–0 sectional semifinal loss to top-seeded Pewaukee at New Berlin Eisenhower, despite entering the game with 13 wins in its last 14 contests. Coach Mark Heisdorf said the early deficit and strong opposing pitching were too much to overcome, but noted Kewaskum returns most starters and pitching, giving the program strong momentum for next season. 
• Public health department shares free cooling sites ahead of warmer weather (gmtoday.com) — Kewaskum residents needing relief from summer heat can use the Kewaskum Public Library as a free cooling site, with extended hours most weekdays and Saturdays. The Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department also highlights additional cooling locations in nearby communities, reminding everyone that these sites offer a safe, air-conditioned place to escape dangerous temperatures, though they don’t provide food, showers, or other services.
