⢠Wild Things: A Head Start for 50,000 Salmon (doorcountypulse.com) ā State fisheries crews are processing thousands of steelhead at the Kewaunee facility and may add an extra harvest day there to offset egg losses from a Michigan lightning strike. Heavy rains also forced an early release of Chinook salmon near Sturgeon Bay and are reshaping local waterways, affecting boating safety, fish habitat, and even Great Lakes water levels.
