• CF man sentenced to seven years in prison for possession of firearms by a felon (gazettextra.com) — A Lake Hallie resident has been sentenced in federal court to seven years in prison after investigators, including the Lake Hallie Police Department, found multiple firearms and meth at his home despite his prior felony record. The case stems from a January 2025 search warrant and follows earlier convictions, including a child endangerment incident involving a hot car in Chippewa Falls.
