• Oneida County DA clears deputies involved in fatal confrontation (tomahawkleader.com) — A state-reviewed investigation has cleared an Oneida County deputy in the June 17 fatal shooting of a resident during an arrest attempt in the Town of Lake Tomahawk. Officials say the man fired a handgun while resisting on his Lumen Lake Drive porch, and the district attorney ruled the deputy’s use of lethal force justified under Wisconsin law.
