• Chippewa County to operate former Rod & Gun Boat Landing (weau.com) — Public access to Lake Wissota’s former Rod & Gun Boat Landing will now be overseen directly by Chippewa County under a new lease with Xcel Energy, and the site is being renamed the Lake Wissota Reserve Boat Landing. County officials say management by the Facilities & Parks Division should feel seamless for residents and visitors, with the same access and convenience you’re used to on the lake.
