Outagamie County staff quickly opened the van and alerted authorities on a nearly 90‑degree day, ensuring the animals were taken to a shelter and are recovering safely. 
• Gas prices below $4 across Fox Cities. Here's what we found (postcrescent.com) — Drivers around Little Chute are seeing some relief at the pump, with Fox Cities gas prices dipping below $4 a gallon and Outagamie County averaging about $3.96.
