ā¢ Mequon runners detour after storms collapse part of the Ozaukee Interurban Trail (tmj4.com) ā A section of the Ozaukee Interurban Trail in Mequon has partially collapsed north of Highland Road after Tuesdayās storms, forcing runners and cyclists to turn around and closing the path indefinitely. Mequonās mayor says repairs may require an outside contractor, while residents also report sewer backups and flooding near local creeks as high water continues around Ozaukee County.

ā¢ Concordia raises over $100,000 during annual Giving Day (gmtoday.com) ā Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon just wrapped up its sixth annual Giving Day, pulling in more than $112,000 for the Concordia Fund and surpassing its $90,000 goal. The 24-hour March MATCHness effort drew 285 donors from 22 states and Canada, boosting scholarships, campus programs, and resources that directly support students studying right here in Mequon. Ā Ā Ā

The agreement includes preferred admission for qualified Concordia students, shared research and faculty, and more Midwest clinical rotation opportunities, which could strengthen Mequonās role as a regional health education hub.
