After a 10-1 rout of the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday, the Brewers lead the best-of-seven series 3-0 and can clinch the first title in franchise history with a win in Game 4 on Tuesday. First pitch at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg is set for 7 p.m. Central time.

Who's Pitching

The Rays will start right-hander Griffin Jax in the elimination game, while the Brewers had not announced a starter as of Tuesday morning, MLB.com reported. Brandon Woodruff had been preparing to start Game 4, but the Brewers instead asked him to pitch the ninth inning of Monday's blowout.

CBS Sports expects right-hander Dustin May to get the ball for Milwaukee, likely on a short leash with plenty of help from a rested bullpen.

A Record-Setting Inning

Game 3 broke wide open in the fifth inning, when the Brewers strung together seven straight hits with two outs and scored eight runs. Both marks are World Series records, according to CNN.

Robert Gasser tossed six shutout innings, and Milwaukee outhit Tampa Bay 16-3, according to Yahoo Sports' game coverage. The Rays avoided a shutout with a run in the ninth.

History On The Brewers' Side

No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the World Series, Yahoo Sports noted. The only team to do it in any best-of-seven MLB series was the 2004 Boston Red Sox in the American League Championship Series.

This is Milwaukee's first World Series appearance since 1982, when the Brewers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games.

If the Rays win Tuesday, Game 5 would also be played at Tropicana Field.
