Man charged in double homicide at Milwaukee recording studio (wtmj.com) — Two men were fatally shot at a recording studio on Milwaukee's north side, and a 28-year-old suspect now faces homicide charges after calling 911 and admitting to firing the shots. Police say the incident followed an argument over a gun, and investigators dispute the suspect's claim of self-defense as he heads to his initial court appearance.

Milwaukee shooting Monday; 1 wounded near Holton and Keefe (fox6now.com) — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting near Holton and Keefe that left a 34-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries Monday night. Officers are still looking for suspects and asking anyone with information to call MPD or submit anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers, keeping this north-side neighborhood alert and involved in the investigation.
   

3. Governor Evers appoints two new judges to Milwaukee County Circuit Court (wtmj.com) — Two new judges are headed to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, with Gov. Tony Evers appointing Malinda Eskra to Branch 9 and Jay Pucek to Branch 34 through July 2027. Both bring deep local experience, from legal aid and appellate work to roles with the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission, the DA's office, and public defense.
