• 'It was disgusting': Racine youth football player tripped by adult from opposing team (cbs58.com) — A Racine youth football player was tripped by an opposing team's parent during a 10-and-under game held in Mount Pleasant, and local police are now involved. The Racine Eagles coach says the child is physically okay but wants assurances about safety before the team's rematch with the Milwaukee Colts in two weeks, while authorities review what happened and possible consequences.

• Caledonia fatal head-on crash; 1 dead, others injured including toddler (fox6now.com) — A 77-year-old man from Mount Pleasant was critically injured in a head-on crash Wednesday on Highway 31 in Caledonia that also killed an 83-year-old passenger and hurt two others, including a toddler. Caledonia police are asking anyone who saw the collision near 5 Mile Road to contact Detective Chad Zoltak as they continue investigating what caused the southbound car to cross the center line.
