• Microsoft to redirect $5 million yearly incentive to Mount Pleasant, Village says (racinecountyeye.com) — Mount Pleasant residents could see more stable tax bills starting with the December 2026 statements, thanks to Microsoft redirecting up to $5 million a year in incentives back to the Village. Most of that money will support the 2027 budget, helping hold down the tax levy while funding road work and police and fire vehicles tied to the growing data center district.
