• Man guilty of child abuse in Saukville road rage incident (ozaukeepress.com) — A Saukville man has been found guilty of felony child abuse with a dangerous weapon after a violent road rage confrontation with two teenage brothers in the village earlier this year. He’ll serve a year in the Ozaukee County jail as a condition of three years’ probation, and is barred from contacting the victims or possessing weapons while undergoing mental health evaluation and treatment. 
• Prolonged roadwork takes toll on businesses (ozaukeepress.com) — Highway W reconstruction north of Highway 33 in Saukville is running about two months behind, squeezing local restaurants and service shops whose customers struggle to reach them. Officials say delays from relocating fiber lines pushed completion toward Thanksgiving, but the $3 million project should ultimately reduce flooding, keep the road open more often, and create a new Milwaukee River Oxbow Nature Preserve park near the village.
