Fire at Sheboygan Business Put Out by Sprinkler System (seehafernews.com) — A pre-dawn fire at a North 15th Street business in Sheboygan was quickly contained by the building’s sprinkler system, with firefighters confirming no injuries and no hazardous chemical release. Crews ventilated the third floor, are still investigating the cause, and the Sheboygan Fire Department is urging all local business and apartment owners to keep sprinkler systems properly maintained.

3. Thomas Atkins (whbl.com) — Sheboygan’s sailing community is mourning Thomas Jon Atkins, a former Sheboygan Yacht Club commodore and Hall of Fame sailor whose life on the water shaped local youth programs and family traditions. A Celebration of Life will be held June 19 at the Sheboygan Yacht Club, with Olson Funeral Home in Sheboygan assisting the family.
