Brandon Hood (washingtoncountyinsider.com) — Slinger firefighters helped Jackson crews battle two lightning-sparked house fires Wednesday night, one on Division Road and another on Ridgeway Court near Highway 60. No one was home at the first residence, but damage is estimated at $335,000 and both Highway 60 and Division Road were closed for several hours while multiple departments worked the scenes.
