A board member even teamed up with Spooner Health to reuse office furniture and files, stretching local resources while making the shelter more inviting for the community.

Insider: Second Suspect Charged in Violent Spooner Bar Stabbing Case (drydenwire.com subscription) — A Spooner man has been charged with felony aggravated battery after a February stabbing outside Big Dick’s Buckhorn Bar in Spooner left another man with severe injuries requiring emergency treatment.
