• Sonderhouse takes step toward becoming next Lake Country Municipal Court judge (gmtoday.com) — A Summit resident, attorney Ron Sonderhouse, is on track to become interim judge of the Lake Country Municipal Court, which serves 22 communities including Summit, pending unanimous approval from each governing body. He would replace longtime Judge Tim Kay, who resigned amid complaints, and the interim appointee will face a special election in spring 2027 and a full-term race in 2028.
