The district is among dozens statewide receiving grants to expand youth mental health support, pairing proactive screening with skill‑building programs in other communities. 
• Barron County tourism grows 1.5%, while Wisconsin strikes another record (gazettextra.com) — Tourism groups in Turtle Lake are praised for promoting Barron County, even as the county’s tourism growth lags behind nearby areas. New state data show Barron County visitor spending hit a record $193 million in 2025, but grew only 1.5%, below regional competitors and local goals.
