• Lawyers Shouldn't Spit in Protesters' Faces (and Police Generally Shouldn't Kick in Doors Without Warrants) (reason.com) — A Wisconsin Supreme Court decision has suspended attorney Stephanie Rapkin for one year over client misconduct and a disorderly conduct conviction after spitting on a teen protester in Shorewood. Her related civil suit against Shorewood and Whitefish Bay over a warrantless door kick-in ended in a $760,000 settlement, raising ongoing questions about police procedure and attorney conduct in nearby communities.
