• Inaugural Battle of the Basins goes to North Dakota State (wyomingnews.com) — Cheyenne volleyball fans saw a big day Saturday as Cheyenne Central upset No. 2-ranked Thunder Basin and Cheyenne East bounced back from a tough Friday loss to beat Campbell County. The roundup also notes Laramie's close loss to Sheridan and recaps the University of Wyoming football team's shutout defeat at North Dakota State.
• Richard W. 'Rick' Hudson (58) (mycountylink.com) — A Greenville family is mourning the death of Richard "Rick" Hudson, whose daughter, son-in-law, and grandson live in Cheyenne. Local relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of his life later this month, with memorial contributions suggested to a cancer association in his honor.
