⢠Uranium makes resurgence, as wind and solar added to the mix (wyomingnews.com) ā Energy development around Douglas is shifting, with uranium production ramping up in Converse and Campbell counties while nearby wind and solar projects face delays, permitting fights, and local pushback. Residents of Glenrock and Douglas have repeatedly opposed the Pronghorn wind project, and a major solar farm northeast of Glenrock and northwest of Douglas has been pushed back to 2027, even as uranium prices and activity rise again.

⢠Record Season Powers Wheatland's Lily Anderson Past 2,000 Career Points (y95country.com) ā Douglas basketball fans will recognize a familiar name in Wheatland star Lily Andersonās record-breaking season, as she surpassed the single-season scoring mark previously held by Douglas standout Lauren Olsen. Andersonās 807 points and 2,012 career total put her within reach of Olsenās all-time Wyoming scoring record next year, keeping Douglas firmly in the conversation about the stateās greatest prep scorers.
