1. Michael J. Koval Dec. 31, 1948 – March 17, 2026 (uintacountyherald.com) — Evanston residents are saying goodbye to Michael J. Koval, a Marine veteran and longtime Painter Plant operator who made his home here and passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. His life spanned service in Vietnam, years in Wyoming’s oilfields, and countless days hunting, fishing, and doting on family and dogs. A celebration of life will be held later in Ohio. 
2. Joye Ann McCaffrey Marostica (lovellchronicle.com) — Longtime educator and community volunteer Joye Ann McCaffrey Marostica once began raising her young family in Evanston before life took them to Connecticut and later Colorado. Her obituary reflects a life of teaching, church service, and deep devotion to family, including nearly 70 descendants. Locals with roots in Lovell, UW, or the LDS community may remember her story.
