His life spanned service in Vietnam, years in Wyoming’s oilfields, and countless days hunting, fishing, and doting on family and dogs. A celebration of life will be held later in Ohio.

Bridger Valley Pioneer Legals, April 16, 2026 (bridgervalleypioneer.com) — Several upcoming public meetings and opportunities in Uinta County will bring Evanston residents into the loop, including a May 22 public hearing at the Evanston-Uinta County Human Services Building on how 2027 Community Service Block Grant funds will be used. Local nonprofits can also apply now for about $231,000 in human services grants administered from the Evanston office, alongside notices on scholarships, water restrictions, liquor licenses, and other county business.

Joye Ann McCaffrey Marostica (lovellchronicle.com) — Longtime educator and community volunteer Joye Ann McCaffrey Marostica once began raising her young family in Evanston before life took them to Connecticut and later Colorado. Her obituary reflects a life of teaching, church service, and deep devotion to family, including nearly 70 descendants. Locals with roots in Lovell, UW, or the LDS community may remember her story.
