• Chilton County Schools step up to fight summer food insecurity (wbrc.com) — Families in Clanton can still access Chilton County Schools’ summer bulk feeding program, which is distributing 10 days’ worth of food per child from Clanton Intermediate and Jemison Intermediate. Demand has been so strong that thousands of tickets were claimed within minutes, prompting the district to add extra freezers and coolers. Residents needing help are urged to contact the central office for remaining availability.
