• Free swim lessons open for District 3 families at Brownsboro Pool in Madison County (whnt.com) — Families in Gurley are eligible for free children’s swim lessons this summer at Brownsboro Pool, since Gurley is part of Madison County Commission District 3. Kids ages 4–12 can join small-group classes in late June or early July, but registration is limited to District 3 residents and spots are expected to go fast.
