• Trion's Thompson Named GACA Coach Of The Year (coosavalleynews.com) — Trion High School girls soccer coach Marcia Thompson has been named Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Bulldogs to their first-ever state championship. The title was also the first girls soccer state crown for all of Northwest Georgia, with standout players like Player of the Year Emma Martz helping cement a historic season for Trion athletics.
