• Ex-Calhoun officer, 2 others arrested in Whitfield shooting (fox5atlanta.com) — Calhoun residents should know that a former Calhoun police officer is among three people charged after a shooting in neighboring Whitfield County, according to state investigators. The GBI says two suspects allegedly stalked the victims and misled police to help the accused shooter, and anyone with information is urged to call the GBI’s Calhoun regional office.
