• Rome Teen Jailed After Leading Police on Chase of over 100mph with Unrestrained 2 Year-old (coosavalleynews.com) — A high-speed chase on GA 53 and Minshew Road ended with the arrest of a Rome teen accused of driving over 100 mph with an unrestrained 2-year-old in the car, near the Shannon area. Police say the same teen was previously arrested for allegedly driving a minor to Shannon Park on Minshew Road to fight another youth, while displaying a toy gun that others believed was real.
